#TravelTuesday: Wine Tourism Day

On November 7th, wineries all over North America will celebrate the third annual Wine Tourism Day.

What is Wine Tourism Day, you ask?

Wine Tourism Day comes to us from Europe. In 2009, the European Network of Wine Cities decided to promote their members through an organized day. In 2012, the idea to bring that same idea to North America was mentioned at the Wine Tourism Conference. The first Wine Tourism Conference happened in 2013.

Every year, North America’s Wine Tourism Day has various events. You can check out if something is going on in your area at Wine Tourism Day Events.

If there isn’t anything going on in your area, don’t let it defer you, though. Get out to your local wineries and go tasting! Here’s some inspiration to get out to wine country.
