I feel horrible. I really do.
I’ve been a shitty blogger.
I’m massively behind on developing recipes for a Puff Pastry Sheets campaign.
However, I’ve got a good reason. My personal life has affected my work as a blogger the last few months.
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been dialing back the social media blitz. Why? Simply put, I want to ENJOY what I’m drinking. Have I had some great stuff lately? Of course! A great “No Shit Added” event at Pairings Portland, a wonderful day at wineries such as Laurel Ridge, Carlton Cellars, and Anam Cara Cellars, an amazing night pairing Ember and Vine‘s delicious Smoked Almonds *AND* Pork Ribs with Burnt Bridge Cellars wine. Not only have I had great experiences outside my home, but at the World HQ, I’ve been drinking great Vermentino from Southern Oregon’s Troon Vineyards, a beautiful 2016 Sauvignon Blanc and 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon from Casillero Del Diablo.
However, I’m not completely dead in the wine world. I’m a regular participant in the livestream shows that are hosted at Bottled TV.
I swear, things are looking up, and I will be back!
