Growing up, I was a regular at our local racetrack that hosted “Fast Friday”. The premise was that the racers got to go fast (obviously) on a Friday night. I thought, “Why not bring this concept to the blog for 2016?” What I intend to do is collect a roundup of news stories and blog posts that I found intriguing, delicious, or just downright entertaining.

Now, some sadness
The wine blogging community lost one of our own during the holidays. Ben Carter of Benito’s Wine Reviews earned his wings on Dec. 24th. While I never had the honor of knowing him beyond the computer screen, I don’t feel it’s appropriate for me to write a tribute.
