An update on my open letter to the Board of Clark County Commissioners

The Board of Clark County Commissioners hold weekly public meetings. On Tuesday, July 2nd, they met and announced that the proposal that would severely impact the Clark County wine industry had been tabled, pending more research by the Commissioners and their staff AND give the opportunity for more public comment! They will meet again on July 23rd to further discuss this matter.

If you answered my battle cry for folks to comment, THANK YOU! If you haven’t, please, feel free to contact the gentlemen of the board: Commissioner Steve Stuart, Commissioner David Madore and Commissioner Tom Mielke at http://www.clark.wa.gov/bocc/emailform.asp

They are open to feedback and please, make your voice heard! Let them know just how far you are willing to travel to not only experience Clark County’s wine culture, but our abundant natural resources, our stunning arts scene, enticing history and our fantastic hospitality!
